Upholding the ideals and beliefs that make Nebraska a great place to live, do business, work and raise our children.

We came into office looking to uphold the ideals and beliefs that make Nebraska a great place to live, do business, work and raise our children.

In spite of the difficult economic conditions that have burdened our country; we in Nebraska have taken a conservative approach that has helped our state stay ahead of most others. Our approach has helped us maintain one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country while
balancing our budget without raising taxes.

We have also worked together to balance the needs of our families with those of the business community. I have been proud to sponsor legislation that protects our families and children from dangerous synthetic drugs like K2. I have also worked to protect our families and businesses from Federal mandates like Obamacare that would hurt our businesses and take important medical and family budget decisions away from you and give them to a Federal bureaucracy.

There are those who seek to change the course that has helped Nebraska stay ahead in these difficult times. Liberal special interests believe that we should increase taxes and put government in charge decisions I believe are better left to our families and businesses. Their approach would kill our economy and cost Nebraska jobs. These groups spent tens of thousands of dollars opposing our campaign four years ago. They have already recruited a candidate and they will challenge us this year.
